10/25/10:
We recently had an unusual visitor to the platform --
a Snowy Egret. We do have Great Egrets at the Refuge (also white), but this bird looked very small compared to our visiting Great Blue Heron, so we're thinking it was likely a Snowy Egret
Recentemente abbiamo avuto un ospite insolito per la piattaforma -
una Garzetta?
Abbiamo un Airone bianco maggiore al Rifugio, ma questo uccello era molto piccolo rispetto alla nostra visita dell'Airone azzurro maggiore
quindi pensiamo che probabilmente era una Garzetta.

We caught a nice shot showing an eagle landing with a fish.
We've also seen a few shots with a stream of birds in the background. At this time of year, we're getting more Canada geese and other migratory birds coming down to the Refuge from the north.
Abbiamo una foto che mostra un atterraggio d'aquila con un pesce.
Abbiamo anche una foto con uno stormo di uccelli sullo sfondo.
In questo periodo dell'anno, ci sono molte oche canadesi e altri uccelli migratori che scendono fino al Rifugio dal nord.
