Ho rivisto i primi post perché ricordavo che si parlava di 3 piccoli; ora sono due e allora ho cercato nel sito. In realtà un piccolo è morto ma non è chiaro dal forum se è successo quello che è successo a Derby :

Sadly one of the chicks has died. The female goshawk has just removed it from the nest. She is now feeding the other two chicks with a dead bird that has been lying on the nest since we opened this morning.

The two remaining chicks have just been fed, except that one seems to have got nearly all the food! The dead chick is still sitting at the side of the nest having been removed from the centre.

I pulcini sono 2 femmine e sono state inanellate ieri.
Il nido è stato trovato sfondato al centro e quindi riparato.

The two goshawk chicks were ringed this morning and they were found to be two females.
The nest was discovered to be almost fallen through at the centre where the female keeps digging down so needed reinforcing. Andy Page from the Forestry Commission and Peter from Carnyx Wild gathered large sticks and branches to reinforce the bottom and remade their beds with some pine
