Mi fa tanta tenerezza Lincoln, lo immagino come un distinto signore in eta' che non soffre la solitudine e l'inedia perche' gli animali e Pale Male in testa riempiono di bellezza e emozione la sua vita..
Che bella persona. E mi piace anche che sia un pochino rompiballe e cerchi di pretendere e lottare per i suoi migliori amici e non rassegnato.
Anche quando credo esageri un po' mi sento solidale, ci sono talmente tanti che esagerano nel verso contrario e tanti che sono totalmente indifferenti che il fatto che lui sia cosi' resta una goccia nel mare..

Ho un posticino nel cuore per Lincoln e sono contenta che non abbia smesso sul serio !!!

(Jan 2) Lincoln is in NH and Iowa for the next week or so covering elections..
i'm sure he really appreciates all the worthless blather....
he did say this, though....
"This evening I was determined to get out of the Media Center in Downtown Des Moines and see 'at least a pigeon'. I walked for several blocks without any sight of a bird of any kind (it is -17 deg C). I got out of the heated 'Skywalk' grid and went out onto the streets when I saw a few starlings. I think I felt the fluid in my eyes freezing but up a few blocks I saw a few crows and they were very vocal so I got as close to them as I could. After a few blocks walking on ice (they don't go out of their way to get rid of ice on the sidewalks here--the streets look nicer with the ice on it though), I fixed my gaze on the crows believing that this is the closest I'll have to a real Red-tailed Stinker, but I had a big surprise in store for me...from over a very tall and large office building there came gliding, in the company of a few more crows, a genuine adult Stinker--complete with red tail.
Now that I think of it I realize that I hardly noticed how cold it was then. The sight of that beautiful little guy racing across the frigid city sky warmed things up a bit. I'll try to post the image of him/her when I'm able." (posted by Bobby)
