Credo che sia a piano terra! Ma chiederò a Nora che ha detto che non hanno poi assolutamente bisogno di stare in alto.
Froona mi ha chiesto di aspettare ancora un po' per aprire il topic e anche a me sembra una buona idea che sia lei stessa ad aprirlo! :D :D :D

News flash about De Mortel webcams (Pa and S2)

Hello all you Falcon friends,

All around the world Peregrine Falcons are starting their breeding season again. It makes people a little nervous; when will the webcams on the Tower in De Mortel be back online?

Well, here is an update for you.

After it became clear that KPN might not want to continue with the streaming webcams, the "Think-tank" started looking for another partner and we found one!
This party is requesting to withhold its identity for now, so no names yet.
The new partner is very enthusiastic about the whole project and is willing to take over the webcams in De Mortel completely.

Three weeks ago they finally received a definite "NO" from KPN. From that moment on they went looking for partners and co-sponsors. It looks like they are quite successful with that.
As soon as the whole financial picture is complete, it's a GO and the the link-up to the Internet will be installed.
Once the connections are in place, the cams can be online within a couple of days.
The new partner is planning to sponsor and host the webcams for many more years to come. This intention for continuation is making us all very happy.

If the realization of streaming video takes a little longer than planned, there is the distinct possibility that for starters we will have 20 second-refreshing images.
That way we can at least see what is happening in and outside the nest box.
There is still a lot of hard work to be done. We are in frequent contact with this new partner and will inform you as soon as there is more news.
We are getting there! But we just have to be patient a little longer still . . . "
