As interest, I watched a show on hummingbirds this past weekend and found they must eat approx 7 times their weight in food per day and can't go longer than 4 hours without food or they'll starve to death.
Also they are the only bird that uses it's wings exactly like a bee.
And on another note their heartbeat is 500 beats per minute when resting and over 1200 beats per minute when flying.

Inoltre è l'unico uccello che utilizza le ali esattamente come un'ape.
