Falchi pellegrini a De Mortel, NL: PA e S2

This is devastating news. As you say Dustie, people who behave like this have an ego problem and/or, I think, are failures in other parts of their lives. This nest and webcam has brought joy and comfort (success when there were serious problems elsewhere) to thousands of people all over the world.
If there's anything that we can do, please tell us.

E' una notizia devastante. Come dici tu, Dustie, la gente che si comporta così ha un problema di egoismo e/o, secondo me, è fallita in altri settori della vita. Questo nido e la sua cam hanno portato la gioia e direi anche un po' di conforto (il successo nei momenti di gravi difficoltà altrove) a migliaia di persone in tutto il mondo.

Se possiamo fare qualcosa, ti prego di dirci.

Che dispiacere!!! Questo nido aveva una frequentazione anche oltre il periodo di riproduzione e le nidiate sono state tutte una più emozionante delle altre!
Un grande peccato veramente.

It now looks like there will be no images from De Mortel this season.
A group of people, representing Alticom (owner of the tower), InterNl (host for the refresh images) the Dutch Bird protection association (host for the live streaming images on Beleef de Lente),
the Birdwatch group Gemert (owner of the nest box on the tower) and the municipality Gemert (of which De Mortel is part) have formed a work-group.
They never consulted with the foundation (owner of the webcams) and are now demanding full control over the webcams and other equipment.
This action was initiated by the Birdwatch group Gemert.

The foundation can not and will not hand over the full control and responsibility of the webcams and supporting equipment. It's as if you buy a beautiful, expensive car and a neighbour then gets to decide who can drive in it.

A counter-proposal is offered but if this newly formed work-group is holding on to their (unacceptable) demands, the foundation is going to remove everything from the tower. The foundation will not allow third parties to use anything that is their property.

So there you have it in a nutshell, not very pretty.

The basic problem is that those involved are all people with an ego that is much too large, all have very short fuses and they all think they are more important than the webcams
and the joy of the many people who watched these Falcons on the Internet!
The fact that the refresh page is off line is also a result of these clashing characters I assume.

Ora sembra che non ci saranno immagini da De Mortel in questa stagione this season.
Un gruppo di persone, rappresentanti di Alticom (proprietario della torre), InterNl (l'host per le immagini refresh), l'associazione olandese per la protezione dell'avifauna (l'host per le immagini dal vivo in streaming su Beleef de Lente), il gruppo di avvistamento degli uccelli Gemert (proprietario del cassetto nido sulla torre) e il comune di Gemert (del quale De Mortel fa parte) hanno fondato un gruppo di lavoro.
Non si sono consultati mai con la Fondazione (proprietario delle webcam) e ora pretendono pieno controllo delle webcam e altri macchinari. Questa azione è stata iniziata dal gruppo di avvistamento degli uccelli Gemert.

La Fondazione non può e non darà via il pieno controllo e la responsabilità delle webcam e gli apparecchi associati. Sarebbe come se avessi comprato una bellissima macchina costosa e poi un vicino di casa dovrebbe decidere chi la guida.

Una contraofferta è stata fatta ma se questo neo-gruppo di lavoro continua con le pretese (inaccettabili), la Fondazione toglierà tutto dalla torre. La Fondazione non permetterà a terzi di utilizzare qualsiasi cosa che appartenga ad essa.

Questa è la situazione: non bella.

Il problema di base è che quelle coinvolte sono tutte persone con un ego sproporzionato; inoltre, tutte si arrabbiamo facilmente e tutte pensano che siano più importanti delle webcam e della gioia di tutte le persone che guardano questi falchi su Internet!
Credo che il fatto che la pagina refresh non sia in linea è anche dovuto a questi personaggi.

Onestamente non mi sento di riassumere quanto leggo su BCAW

Il gioco degli interessi (anche pecuniari oltre che di potere) è abbastanza complesso e non credo che per quest'anno le cam saranno riattivate.
L'indignazione è grande, ma almeno i falchi non avranno alcun disagio e, in fondo, questa è la cosa più importante.
E speriamo che in futuro riescano a mettersi d'accordo. Purtroppo non c'è molto altro da dire.

Anche Nora chiede di pensare soprattutto al benessere della coppia che non sarà in alcun modo disturbata.
Tutti siamo tristi al pensiero di non poterli seguire dalle cam.
Ma ci sarà sempre qualcuno che ci darà notizie e immagini.
