Metto la mia testa sul blocco: credo che ci siano due falchi che frequentano il nido - oppure Antonio ha fatto una muta in questi giorni che ha cambiato il piumaggio della testa radicalmente.
I'm putting my head on the block and saying that I think there are two peregrines using the nest site, unless Antonio has moulted in the last few days and his head plumage has changed radically.
Guardiamo queste foto: sono lo stesso uccello? Se mi sbaglio, chiedo scusa a tutti. Look at these photos - are they the same bird? If I'm wrong, I apologise profoundly. Entrambe le foto sono di Ferenz

quelle sopra sono due foto che ho ripreso, fatte da Daniela e Ferenz pochi giorni fa........quello nella prima foto non è Antonio, almeno non mi sembra, quella riga bianca sulla fronte Antonio non ce l'ha....e anche il piumaggio sembra più grigio chiaro...

che abbia una compagna??? sarebbe ora....

scusa Gabbiano se ho modificato il tuo messaggio ma volevo evidenziare quello che dice Warbler, secondo me Ferenz non ha capito, ho guardato anche il loro forum ma non fanno cenno a queste differenze, anche lì ci sono le foto che abbiamo noi

Antonio is banded on his left foot (pic 1). If that falcon in pic 2 (taken 01-29-2012 11:57:49) is banded too,
it should be Antonio as well. Don't let beeing disturbed by that dammned temporarily white feather on Antonios beak
(pic 3). I guess it will not be there anymore cause it only was a remain from the prey we have seen on 01-26-2010.

If we could see the banded left foot of white feathered falcon, it would be a proof that we see Antonio and no intruder.
Unfortunately there are only 3 other peregrine falcon forums with a zuerich thread. BCAW & Falken-Förmchen.ch & perigrines.nl/forum. I haven't found any further news about an appearance of a second falcon (female or male) in the zuerich nest, exept the juvie from dec 21-2011-8:20:41

econdo me non è solo quelli con il marchio Antonio, ma che è anche visto una sola volta.
Antonio è evidente per il cappuccio scuro e alla fine di penne della coda zn è un leggero vantaggio per vedere bene l'immagine del sole Nuri 29 2012 2:09pm
